The New Mexico Association of Counties (NMAC) is accepting applications for a Senior Accountant for our nonprofit association and county insurance pools. NMAC has an excellent benefits package and working environment with exceptional colleagues committed to serving our county members.

The successful candidate will have excellent accounting and computer skills. A bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and/or 5+ years of experience in non-profit accounting is preferred. Duties will include working alongside the Finance Director and Comptroller to assist with financial reporting and reconciliation, billing, analytics, compliance and controls, and cross-functional work.
