The New Mexico County Insurance Authority (NMCIA) is accepting applications for a New Mexico based Workers’ Compensation Claims Manager for our self-insurance pool. NMCIA has an excellent benefits package and working environment with exceptional colleagues committed to serving our county members.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 8 years’ experience adjusting workers’ compensation claims as well as strong management experience. Duties include supervising six workers’ compensation claims staff, ensuring compliance with established claims processing procedures and state law, and managing and reporting excess claims to our excess carriers. NMCIA is seeking a professional, self-motivated, well organized, and detailed oriented individual who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to having a demonstrated commitment to working effectively as a team member.
